Happy Days...

Hey...
Watched happy days... Beautiful. Not just for the simplicity of the movie, but for a routine that was beautiful. Yeah, get up in the morning, get ready, board a bus, go to college, attend classes, comeback home and finally chat on the phone - a very simple routine. But what makes it beautiful is the bond that is formed with your college mates. From being complete strangers and progressing to friends you can count with your life... that is what this movie is all about.

This movie is for all those people who had a college life... I should say, not just for those, but for everyone who cherish their friends... Though there is nothing much in the movie, except a daily routine of six teenagers progressing towards their life's goals, somehow it was appealing. It reminisced as the title aptly says, happy days of the past. A whirl wind of memories went through me while watching it. And I think every one will connect to one scene or the other and somehow end up being over whelmed by the whole movie.

As days progressed, college life was history, but I clung on to the memories, those happy notes to bring a smile any given day. I never thought I actually enjoyed my college life so much, and watching this movie somehow made me feel that I did not have such a bad college life as I thought I had. Like footprints, friendship leaves its golden trait of memories on the sands of time. And thoughts of those are all it takes to make you smile.

And finally, I loved the closing statement:

This is the end of happy days and the beginning of the most purposeful days in your life....
